What are the conditions and procedures for property transfer?
• Hold a valid legal occupancy title.
• Be of Algerian nationality.
• Provide proof that rent payments are up to date, certified by the managing department.
The application file must be submitted to the Review and Examination Committee of the Office for the Promotion and Management of Real Estate (OPGI) of Mostaganem.
The file must include:
• A handwritten application for acquisition.
• The legal occupancy title of the property.
• A rent clearance certificate issued by the managing department.
• The applicant's birth certificate.
What you must do if your application is approved:
You must submit the signed and certified undertaking provided by the OPGI Committee within a period not exceeding one month.
If you fail to confirm your purchase request within the prescribed period, your application will be considered null and void.
Any future application will require the submission of a new file.
What you can do if your application is rejected:
You may file an appeal before the Wilaya Appeals Committee established for this purpose within one month from the date of receipt of the rejection notice.
